bad week gets better?
May. 25th, 2014 11:38 amLilah had had yet another bad day at the office,Nathan Reed had disappeared presumed dead and she had gotten a new boss who was in her opinion an ass. His name was Linwood Murrow. So now after about eight hours of working her ass off at the office, Lilah had decided that she needed a little pick me up, so here she was at her usual hole in the wall bar. She'd been in Los Angeles over two years, before finding this place. The bar she was currently sitting in was called Paradise and they had the best drinks in town. She had a few other bars that she went to, but this one was her favorite.
Paradise was small had just the right light smoky atmosphere, good music that wasn't loud annoying techno crap that all the other trendy bars in town had. Best of all no one from Wolfram and Hart came here that alone made it worth it. She'd been coming here so often now that she knew the bartender and owner Billy by name.
She came in and sat at her usual spot at the bar and ordered her usual drink of choice when here, a Cosmo only tonight she told Billy to make it on the stronger side. She sat at the bar sipping her Cosmo and doing some people watching.

Date: 2014-05-25 03:56 pm (UTC)James wandered in, confident and self assured, yet had a way of not drawing too much attention his way. He noted the bar tender and the woman sitting at the bar, before turning his gaze towards the other people. After a good scope of the place, he moved up to the bar and ordered a scotch on the rocks. A drink in his hand, drew even less attention to him so he could also people watch. Of course his reasons were perhaps quite different to the woman nearby. He grinned at as he downed his scotch.

Date: 2014-05-25 04:20 pm (UTC)He was just about to move closer to her, to start his little game, when a woman from the nearby table got up and headed to the bathroom. He grinned a little wider. Her friends were laughing and engrossed in their own stories to notice him follow after her. Of course he waited until she had disappeared into the bathroom before doing so. Poor girl didn't even see him coming. He moved her into a cubicle, hand tight over her mouth before he tore his fangs into the flesh of her neck. The taste was sweet and warm with just a hint of the alcohol. She didn't put up much of a fight, which was a little disappointing but he fed until there was no more and her heart stopped.
Stepping back, he licked his bloody mouth, smiling at the mess he had made.

Date: 2014-05-25 04:37 pm (UTC)"It would have to be a pretty special stake, if he tried." He replied, his voice only loud enough for her to hear. He turned to Billy and ordered another drink. Whilst his drink was made, James turned back to the woman, "And he'd want to do it right the first time, because I'm all for bloody vengeance."
His grin was vicious as he paid for his drink, his eyes never leaving hers.

Date: 2014-05-25 04:53 pm (UTC)"And what would you know about vampires?" He shifted a little closer, his eyes turning slightly red as he stared intently at her. He had been caught out when he was a lot younger and weaker by a pack of hunters and so, he was wary of strangers in the know.

Date: 2014-05-25 05:11 pm (UTC)"Who the hell are you?" He finished his drink, taking a longer look at her, up and down. She was a little sexy, he had to admit, but she looked harmless. He knew looks could be deceiving however.

"I don't like being on anyone's radar. What's to stop me from killing you?"

Date: 2014-05-26 05:14 am (UTC)"You might be hot with a cute smile, but that is not enough to stop me from ending your life if I chose to. You know nothing about me." He was practically snarling at the end of his little rant.
She was too calm and he found it infuriating.
"I think I'll get by without a piece of paper."

Date: 2014-05-26 05:36 am (UTC)He growled, paid Billy and went after her. He had no idea why. Maybe he wanted to hurt her, perhaps he decided he was in need of a late night snack. Whatever the reason, he left the bar and started after her.

"You don't seem so confident any more." He chuckled darkly.
